Iron Chariots Car Show is a festive Down Town event honoring your favorite Iron Chariot whether they are 2/3/4 wheel, custom/stock, John Deere Green/Farmall Red, or simply the Iron Chariot of your youth/dreams. Iron Chariots is a ministry of Ivor Baptist Church designed to provide a means for fellowship among community Iron Chariot Enthusiasts, and to introduce and support IBC’s various missions.
In 2023 Trophies were awarded for the TOP 25 Iron Chariots!!! Additionally Trophies were awarded for “Best in Show”, “Best Paint”, “Best Interior”, “Best in Progress”, “Pastor’s Choice”, & “Best in Blue” recognizing our local Police and Sheriffs Offices!!!
2022’s Best in Show Iron Chariot was a 1955 Chevrolet – WOW is she beautiful! See For Yourself!!
2022’s Best Paint Winner – Presented by TAMCO Paints of Wakefield, VA – is this AWESOME 1987 Buick Grand National.
Best Interior for 2022 went to a Sweet 1967 Chevelle Super Sport.
2022 marked a Change of Reign for our “Best in Blue” as Southampton County Sheriff’s Office captured this year;s Bragging Rights from 20 & 21’s winner Isle of Wight’s Sheriff’s Office. Congratulations & Thank You to ALL our are Sheriff’s, Local, and State Police Departments for your support for our community!!
2022 also marked the Inaugural awarding of “Pastor’s Choice” and his choice was this Knock Out 1962 Studebaker Lark Daytona.
2023 was IBC’s 7th Annual Iron Chariots Car Show with over 60 Iron Chariots on Display coming from across Eastern Virginia & North Eastern North Carolina. We had Iron Chariots covering a Vast Spectrum of categories from Street Dragsters, Drag Strip Favorites, Classic Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Daily Riders, Retirement projects, AND SO MANY MORE!!!
ALL PROCEEDS go to support Missions and Missionaries supported by IBC – nothing stays at IBC. The Lord has Blessed Iron Chariots over its first 7 years by sending out over $61,000 to Missions around the world. Past Missions supported through Iron Chariots Car Show include: Beth Emet Messianic Synagogue of Ahoskie, NC; Supply and Multiply of Monstrouis, Haiti; Pastor Arnold Alagao of the Philippines; IBC Summer Camp Fund that has sent over 60 youth to Summer Camp over the last 5 years; Gideon International – Camp Smithfield, VA.; and Mercy Chef
